Programs at The Connemara Centre are based on a philosophy of renewal vs. development. Renewal starts from the premise that we recognize there is something within us that lies waiting to be re-awakened. Our effort comes not from working to find this place within, but rather, from learning to remove the blocks to its nurturing and guiding presence. From this process we gain energy, insight, expanded awareness, and the ability to become authenticly inspired transformational leaders of the future.

Program Descriptions
Currently, all of our program offerings are a part of the Authentic Women's Leadership Series. In future, the Centre's program menu will also include mixed gender programs, men's programs and programs presented by guest facilitators.
Programme One
The Diamond Edge Programme
The Diamond Edge Programme provides women leaders with the opportunity to create a personal, values-based vision for influencing effectively in a fast paced and changing world. Through case-studies, experiential exercises and small group work, women will discover how their beliefs and values directly impact their leadership effectiveness, and will determine the core values that are authentic and real for them as leaders. By connecting with this deep and centred place within, women will establish a renewed sense of purpose and clarity, and develop an increased ability to build trusting relationships while encouraging more involvement, creativity and commitment from others. Leading from this internally directed sense of connectedness and purpose will provide women leaders with the means to assess situations more efficiently and remain focused on problem solving and strategic issues while also providing clear direction for others.

As a result of participating in the Diamond Edge Programme, women will acheive the following:

Who Should Attend
Experienced women managers and leaders who are seeking further positions of influence. They may already have clear insights about how the business needs to change but may feel blocked by the prevailing climate and pattern of relationships in the organisation. They are likely to:

Global Network

It is one of the goals of The Authentic Women's Leadership Series to bring together women from all parts of the world to share their experiences and explore their leadership stories while creating a strong global support network. Discovering what connects us on the inside is a bond much richer and more real than our varied life experiences and situations. As authentic women leaders, acknowledging and sharing the creation of our inner truth stories can be a continuing source of our great strength and power.
